To Accept This Love

SORRY THAT I HAVEN'T UPDATE THIS BLOG!!!

How come a person like me,
Fall in love with you,
When I believe that love,
Isn't always true.

In fact, I was afraid of loneliness
To have no one love me,
I tried to tell the world about it,
But nobody agrees.

Day comes, night goes,
Why can't I forget about it?
I don't have the appetite to eat,
and I can't properly sit.

Why do love hurt so much?
It makes me want to cry,
I want to find the key,
To open the cage and see it fly.

My hatred towards love,
Keeps fading day by day,
And when I try to get it back
I wonder why the sky turns grey?

About Boys

So I got another blog; http://tanteiusagi.blogspot.com, and I was too busy editing my story from facebook. But hey! This is a poem that I wrote before Picnic With Friends. Inspiration; Shed a Tear by Nigahiga (and the other two guys);

They say boys are strong,
But girls are stronger,
When it comes to crying,
Girls' tears last longer.

When boys talk about it,
They'll say "It's okay."
But when they lose their love,
They got nothing to say.

They'll shed their tears,
And scream as loud as they can,
Then they'll say to themselves,
"I must be a man!"

Boys do have sad feelings,
They just don't want to cry,
So girls, don't break their hearts,
They want to be tough guys.

If you want to know what is the story I typed, go to http://tanteiusagi.blogspot.com. And I have BAD grammars in that story since I just type once.

Picnic with Friends

So... I'm not really inactive in this blog, just checking my tagboard. I'm still studying for my exam and last night I wrote this poem. Inspiration; Tiny cakes made of rubber.

We walk down the slope,
And reach the beautiful lake,
We sit on the picnic blanket,
And eat the brownies we bake.

The sun is shining bright,
So we shelter under the tree,
We chat as we eat,
And didn't bother the annoying bee.

We pick out ixoras from bushes,
And make friendship rings
Butterflies start to join us,
And show off their wings.

I take out my binoculars,
And we share to see birds flying,
When the sun begins to set,
I wave goodbye at them and cry.

Unforgettable picnic with friends,
I keep crying when they leave,
Crouching under the tree,
And the witnesses is only dried leaves

Bamboo

I inspired the bamboos outside my house, the cold wind and the full moon on sunset... well, almost sunset actually...

The November wind is blowing,
As I stare at the full moon,
I wrap my scarf around my neck,
But the cold wind will be gone soon.

Those rustling bamboo leaves,
Remind me of that day,
Making music out of hitting two bamboos,
You made me didn't know what to say.

You made them sound like Pachebel's Canon,
I didn't know how you did that,
And I remember one sunny day,
I made you a straw hat.

Now I can't hear it anymore,
The music has gone with you,
The only things left are the straw hat,
and the sound of grasshoppers too.

Haiku Suburbs (ii)

Hi! Thank you for reading Haiku Suburbs.

Movement of the Wind

Movement of the wind
Invincible to my eyes
blowing through my hair.

Dahlia, my flower!

Dahlia, my flower!
For you have many colours
And mine is yellow.

Haiku Suburbs (i)

Good Morning Sunshine!

Good morning sunshine!
Lets have toasted bread with jam
and cup of coffee.

At The Festival

At the festival
We hear sounds of bamboo leaves
rustle by the wind.

Introductory to Haiku Suburbs

I'm gonna add haiku poems here. Since not many people know about haiku, it is a Japanese poem, composed in three unrhymed lines of five, seven, five syllables. It is originated in the sixteen century and reflects some aspect of nature and creates images.

But when using haiku in English, we used kigo (season word). Kigo is a word or phrase associated with a particular season. E.g. sakuras (cherry blossoms) is a common spring kigo.

But you don't have to stick with the rules.

Limerick Lane

Limerick is another form of poetry, where it meant to be a funny poem.
This is an example, which I copy and paste (and edit again) from my Facebook note;

Old Knight

There was an old knight who liked to fight,
He once woke up in the night,
He licked his lips,
and ate fish and chips,
Until he was so full that he could no longer fight.

No hair

There was an old farmer* from the dairy,
Who believed he was clever and hairy,
He thought he was fair,
But found out that he had no hair,
Yet cried as one armpit was still hairy.
